1966 MUSTANG FASTBACK
We just acquired this beautiful 1966 Mustang Fastback from a
longtime owner who ''FRAME-OFF'' restored the car 20 plus years
ago.{pics available} He built it as a tribute to Mustangs
contribution to ''Vintage Road Racing'' although never raced it
himself. Instead he meticulously maintained the car and kept it in
pristine condition. It was driven and showed locally and sparingly
since completion and always stored in his garage never being
exposed to the elements which explains why it still looks like it
just came out of the restoration shop yesterday. YOU GOTTA CHECK
THIS ONE OUT !!
The body is rock solid, extremely straight & very clean including
the floors, trunk & frame and the ''Ivy Green''
base/clear paint is absolutely gorgeous with a deep luster and show
car shine. All of the chrome, trim & weather stripping was also
replaced or redone during it's extensive restoration process and
still looks brand new. The interior was also redone new. He used 69
Mustang high back front bucket seats but retained the original
''fold down'' rear seat. A roll bar behind the front seats has been
professionally installed and looks super cool ! Power comes from a
super strong running and healthy sounding rebuilt 302 c.i. 4
bbl.V-8 engine and is backed up by a ''Top Loader'' 4 speed
transmission and 9" Ford rear with 3:50 gears and a ''Detroit
Locker''.
Other features include:
4 wheel disc brakes
15'' Torq-Thrust ''D'' wheels
custom dual exhaust,
Retro-Sound stereo
original & reconditioned ''Walnut'' steering wheel
GT fog lights and a whole lot more !!
This is a very well done 1966 Mustang Fastback that will not
disappoint !! DON'T MISS IT !!
