Vehicle Description
This very well maintained 2003 Mercury Marauder is a good example
that a sedan can be a performing vehicle as well. After a 33 year
break from the Mercury line-up, the Marauder was re-introduced in
2002. Introduced at the 2002 Chicago Auto Show, the Marauder made
its debuted as a concept 5 passenger convertible. This particular
Marauder has had a very pampered life. Powered by the 302 HP 4.6L
Cu In V8 and backed by an automatic transmission. Some of the other
upgrades that the Marauder received to its suspension and
drive-train include an aluminum drive shaft, heavy duty anti-sway
bars, power 4 wheel disc brakes, performance handling package, and
the limited slip differential with the 3:55:1 rear axle ratio. This
Mercury starts, runs and drives just as it should. The black
exterior is in excellent condition and is set apart with the
factory polished 18" forged wheels, and rear spoiler. The floors
are proof that it has not ever been in any kind of adverse weather.
The Dark Charcoal leather interior is also in excellent condition.
Loaded with options like the front bucket seats with console and
floor shifter, A/C, power adjustable pedals, auto temp control,
remote keyless entry, cruise control, AM/Fm with CD and cassette,
power front seats, dual heated mirrors, and auto dim mirror.
Included in the purchase of this great and rare Mercury is the
original window sticker, and the leather jacket that was produced
exclusively for Marauder owners and is still in the Mercury bag.
This is a special opportunity to purchase an appreciating piece of
Mercury history.
