Please visit www.Survivor-Cars.com for additional photos,
information and a video. Featured in the November 2017 edition of
"Motoring Tampa Bay", this garage-kept 1971 C3 Corvette Stingray is
a real attention getter. The Hugger Orange paint sets this Corvette
apart in a crowd and really looks good laid over the flowing curved
of the C3 body. A white stripe on the hood breaks up the orange
nicely and is paired with Rev chrome wheels that give a modern
flair. This Corvette has a special option that we dont see every
day. That is the pop out back window! Meaning, you can remove the
t-tops and the back window and essentially have a convertible
Corvette any time you want! The trouble vacuum systems on these
cars have been handled with all electric headlight and wiper door
actuator. No more waiting for the vacuum to build, or watching one
headlight come up way before the other one. These work on time,
every time! Lots of new parts have been installed to make this car
a great driver for car shows and cruises. A chrome air cleaner and
valve covers dress up the 350 nicely, along with chrome alternator
and chrome master cylinder. Full-length Hooker headers not only
look great, but also give this Vette a nice deep rumble as they
send the exhaust through a stainless steel Magnaflow system. The
engine is bored .030 over making it a 355 and is topped with an
Edelbrock intake and Edelbrock carburetor. An HEI ignition provides
the spark while a double roller timing chain, ARP head bolts and
Dewitts high-performance aluminum radiator make sure this beauty
has years of reliable performance. Edelbrock aluminum heads,
aluminum water pump, Comp Cams .294H camshaft, roller rockers and
Holley fuel pump give this small block a lot of pep. That power is
routed through a smooth shifting 3-speed Turbo 400 automatic and
runs to a 4.11 gear out back. Four-wheel disc brakes provide plenty
of stopping power while power steering makes this car easy to drive
for anyone. You will be hard pressed to find a better running,
sharper looking C3 Corvette so dont sit on your hands. Give us a
