Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is presenting a 1979 Pontiac
Trans Am for sale. This Pontiac is Nocturne Blue with a Black
Interior. This Trans Am is powered by the 403 CI 6.6L V8 with
automatic transmission. The current owner has gone over this car
mechanically first and then had a quality paint job done. All the
body mounts were replaced. Many front suspension components
including tie rods, and ball joints. All new brake lines and rubber
hoses. In the rear both inner and outer axel bearings were
replaced. The transmission was serviced new filter, gasket, and
fluid. All the engine hoses belts and fluids have been changed. All
ignition parts, cap, rotor, plugs and wires have been replaced as
well. All the tires are in excellent condition. All the options in
the car including the clock are functional. All the trim was
removed to prep for the body shop. The rockers were repaired with
metal not mud, and the fenders were replaced with used originals
not cheap aftermarket replacements. The car was fully epoxy primed
and painted to the original Nocturne Blue, OE paint code and a full
GM decal Kit was also ordered and installed. All the rubber trim
and seals have been replaced on the car. This Trans Am sounds great
and runs and shifts as it should. In 1979 the Trans Am still had
enough left to be a fun car to drive. The looks of course were
still the iconic Bandit that everybody wanted. To view this 1979
