1957 Chevrolet Nomad Tri 5 Chevys have never been out of style
since they were first introduced. With clean crisp lines, stylish
trim, and superb color combinations they endeared themselves into
the American Automotive psyche and have stayed there ever since.
This particular one is no exception to the rule and very rare with
only 6264 total Nomads made and a super rare fuel injection $550
option, (one site said only 109 FI nomads made) and it has over 25
other options! This older frame off restored to original Nomad has
many rare options and is powered by a strong and smooth very rare
Factory Fuel injected 283/250hp V8 code FJ with a correct cast iron
Power Glide 2 speed automatic transmission with a 3.08 open rear
end. The Tropical Turquoise paint treatment is smooth and shiny and
the turquoise and silver interior is like new and it comes with
fabulous stainless trim and chrome throughout. The brakes are power
front and rear drum and it rides on 14 inch steel wheels with new
correct 3 bar spinner hubcaps and wide white wall bias ply tires.

would be a joy to own. Features are as follows; It is powered by
the ultimate Chevy V8 of the day a smooth, detailed, fuel injected
283 V8. The Power Glide transmission shifts smooth and easy. The
Power Steering and Power Brakes work effortlessly along with very
rare power windows. There is a like new Tuned Dual Exhaust with a
Mellow note. Great Original Sheet Metal and Solid Floors Finished
in correct to original Mirror Gloss Tropical Turquoise code 811 The
interior is the correct turquoise and silver cloth and vinyl. There
are color keyed seat belts up front optional Am Wonder bar radio
(non-working) and very rare optional Autronic eye (automatic
headlight dimmer) and working optional drivers side spotlight.
Other options; Dash mounted Compass, clock, Stop Light Viewer,
floor mats, front fender antenna, tissue dispenser, nail guards,
rocker moldings, gold rear license plate frame, electric wipers
with glass washer jar, power seat, EZ eye tinted glass, front

lights, and airflow heater. The engine bay is fully detailed Very
nice Stainless Trim and Chrome adorn the car The wheels are correct
painted steel with Tri- Bar Spinner Hubcaps Tires are wide
whitewalls bias ply. The body panels, floor pans are as straight as
they come and look to be all original to the car. The chrome and
stainless are nearly all new with excellent chrome trim around the
rear window and tailgate. The Headliner and interior stainless trim
are great. This is probably the only one like it in the world.
