Sometimes at Art & Speed, we get vehicles into the showroom that
defy the urge to be typical; instead, they dare to be different.
Our latest acquisition does precisely that, with a cool-factor that
is off the charts! Let us introduce you to this one-of-a-kind 1932
Five-Window Coupe.
The first thing you notice on this custom street rod is the stance.
With a chopped and channeled body sitting on top of a Z'd frame, it
looks mean just sitting still. Completed in 2016, the fiberglass
body resides on a custom-fabricated and paint-matched 2 x 3 square
tube frame. With a Mustang II-style coilover front suspension, it
drives better than its height might suggest. Shod with 15-inch-wide
Mickey Thompson tires in the rear and 6-inch-wide Mickeys in the
front adds to the aggressive look of this 32 coupe. A set of
Wilwood brakes fill the 15-inch American Racing wheels to round out
the performance.
Beautifully painted in Alabaster White Pearl bathed in clearcoat,
this handcrafted '32 Five-Window Coupe with its laid-back grille
and Moon tank out front stands out in a crowd. Powered by a
built-302 Ford engine with twin 500cfm Edelbrock carburetors atop a
tunnel ram manifold with a custom-ground cam inside, it means
business. All of that power is fed through the chassis to a C4
automatic transmission coupled to a Ford 9-inch rearend.
Ceramic-coated headers and stainless steel exhaust give this coupe
the appropriate rumble to match its looks.
Stepping inside, you see the interior uses custom-fabricated,
aircraft-style bucket seats and two-tone diamond-pleated leather.
The chrome steering column adds a nice touch to the rather simple
interior as your hands around the billet steering wheel trimmed in
matching leather for style and comfort. The center console is also
matched in two-tone diamond-pleated leather with a bonus of custom
stainless cupholders. White-faced Dolphin gauges mounted in billet
trim keep you informed on the vitals of the coupe.
This fresh '32 Ford Five-Window Coupe is a well-sorted jaw-dropper
sure to stop passersby and judges alike. Give us a call or come by
the Art & Speed showroom to check out this beautifully-crafted
street rod.
