GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1971 MG Midget for your
consideration. The Midget isi powered by a 1.3L L4 motor which is
mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. This car has been in the
same family for 40 years and has undergone a complete rotisserie
restoration.
Once the car was stripped down to a rolling chassis, the body was
sent off to a body shop to be sandblasted and prepared for paint.
The new burgundy paint is in spectacular condition and shows well.
Complementing the paint are chrome bumpers making this more unique
than the later Midgets which were fitted with rubber bumpers due to
new automotive safety laws implemented in the United States.
Not only was the body and paint completely redone, all mechanicals
have been restored along with all accessories. The clutch, ignition
system, alternator, brake lines, fuel pump, and fuel tank are just
some of the new parts. The carburetors, cylinder heads, engine, and
transmission were all rebuilt at the time of restoration. The
vehicle comes with a photo album of the restoration along with a
convertible top cover and tonneau cover.
Gr Auto Gallery, LLC and our sister company, Wheelz Sales and
Leasing Inc. makes every effort to represent each vehicle
