1962 Chevrolet Impala SS 2dr Hardtop finished in Roman Red with Red
bucket seat interior. This is a TRUE SS Impala! This car is still
in the same color combination it would have come in from Chevrolet
in 1962. Chrome and brightwork is in good shape as is the paint.
Paint has a nice shine to it as well. This car has had some changes
done to including the 454 V8 powerplant that was dropped in it.
That big block is paired with a 4-speed Muncie manual transmission.
This is nicely equipped with power steering and power brakes.
Functional cowl induction hood added with impala SS badging on the
side. 3:08 rear gears and a serpentine belt system installed as
well. A/C compressor is installed, but the rest of the A/C would
need to be plumbed. Red Vinyl bucket seat interior with custom
gauge pod and Kenwood stereo center. Interior is in nice shape and
free of wear. Aftermarket tachometer installed on the steering
column as well. Hood springs are getting weak, could use new
springs. 6x9s installed nicely in the rear deck as well! Riding on
classic wheel covers with spinners and white wall radials. Great
sounding TRUE 1962 Impala SS!
