The Ford Galaxie Skyliner. This particular vehicle was produced
August 4th, 1959 which would classify it as a "Galaxie Skyliner".
The retractable hardtop option or "Hide-Away Hardtop" was unique to
Ford branded products and was not offered on any of the other Ford
Motor Company brands like Lincoln, Mercury, or Edsel. This is an
ideal cruising machine with its original 352CID V8 that has plenty
of power to scoot around this boat of a car. The power from the V8
is sent through a super smooth shifting 3-speed Cruise-O-Matic
Automatic transmission which makes driving this big car a breeze.
