this beautiful 1957 Ford Thunderbird finished in White with Black
Interior with the 312 CID V8 and Auto Transmission. Performance was
becoming an increasingly important feature to car buyers as the

Thunderbird to no fewer than six, including four levels of power in
the new 312 CI version of its Y-block V-8 engine in addition to the
292 CI units offered in 1955 and 1956 Thunderbirds. This example
incorporates the 245 HP version of the new 312 CI engine featuring
dual exhaust. optional port hole hard top, and a contrasting Black
and white interior. It was well-optioned with the Borg
Warner-designed Ford-O-Matic 3-speed automatic transmission, Master
Guide power steering. When it came to exterior cosmetics, the buyer
of this early production example chose an optional porthole hard
top, chromed wire wheels, wide whitewall tires and fender skirts.
312 CID V8/245 HP, Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission, power
