Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1972
Chevrolet Chevelle . The second generation of Chevelles from
1968-1972 were an absolute hit. With '72 being the last year for
this generation, Chevrolet made some slight changes, mainly to the
twin bar grill. Sales were through the roof and lead these muscle
cars to be America's second-best selling car! This gorgeous example
is in Mulsanne Blue with black vinyl interior. The original motor
has been replaced with a 350ci crate motor and is mated to a
rebuilt original Saginaw 4 speed manual transmission, and 12 bolt
rear end! The cowl induction hood is non-functional, everything
else works with exception of the tach and clock. Owner has recently
installed new front and rear coil springs, bushings in control
arms, rear body bushings, flywheel, clutch and pressure plate,
throw-out bearing, and new clutch z bar. You walk up on this prime
example of a muscle car and see the aggressive stance you can't
help but inch closer and you then you can tell the level of care
she has been subjected to. Options on this Chevelle are: AM/FM
radio, Power Steering, Rally Wheels, Vinyl Interior, and Radial
Tires. This 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle is for sale in our Louisville
Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD
