Butternut Yellow is a great factory color on a Chevelle like this. It seems to represent its era correctly in a bright and distinct way. The V8 inhales deeply with a four-barrel carburetor with Edelbrock Performer intake. It fires up readily while making a terrific big block sound out of the dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. The three-speed automatic transmission has a stall converter to keep you in the ideal powerband, and that feeds a 10-bolt rear end. Plus, features like power steering, and power brakes w/discs up front, and wide BF Goodrich T/As make for an all-around driving classic.
