Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 2008 Porsche Boxster RS60
Spyder six-speed manual. The RS60 was built to pay homage to the
famed 718 race cars that dominated sports car racing and Porsche's
win at the 12 hours of Sebring in 1960. Only 1960 examples were
produced, all in GT silver and each was serialized with a
commemorative plaque on the dash - this is number 1683.
Porsche upped the performance of the Boxster S with more power,
special wheels, PASM as standard, sport seats and more goodies -
the limited run sold out quickly despite the MSRP of nearly
$70,000. Today these cars remain desirable among collectors and
enthusiasts who appreciate the performance and exclusivity that
they afford.
This example has been garage kept under current ownership and is
accompanied by a clean CarFax report, two keys, tools and owner's
books. We believe it to be in original paint (it has clear bra on
the nose) and the red interior and top provide a striking color
combination. Factory 19-inch wheels are wearing Continental tires
with lots of remaining tread.
