BN7: OEW & Midnight Blue, tan interior, with the signature Mark II tri-carb engine. Never driven in the rain (in fact, didn’t have a top until this year’s refresh). Always stored in conditioned space. The pair received full, (cost-no-object) nut-and-bolt restorations in 2000-2002 (BN7) & 2001- 2003 (BT7). The BN7’s just-completed “refresh” includes all new seals, bushings and weather stripping, flexible hoses and lines, complete suspension & mechanical refurbish by renowned Austin Healey specialist BRC of Philadelphia, engine inspection & tuning by Innovative Racing Technologies, Wayne, PA. Paint & chrome are flawless.

This car was originally restored for the 2002 Philadelphia Int’l Auto show that was celebrating the Austin Healey marque’s 50th anniversary. It was also presented to wife as her surprise 50th birthday gift on the floor. Only 355 of this two-seat model were produced making it the rarest “big” Healey except the 55 model 100 S’s designed for racing Sebring & LeMans.

It is visually as left the factory, however a few reliability upgrades are incorporated (such as electronic ignition and fuel pump). Included is a new convertible frame, top and side curtains, complete tool set w/ jack. New Vredestein tires mounted on stock 60-spoke wire wheels, complete hydraulic/brake system rebuild (all parts replaced, whether needed or not).

Car has been driven a mere 10,000 miles since original restoration twenty years ago, and less than 50 since this $30,000.00 refresh was completed. Records are available as well as its British Heritage Trust Certificate.

Included in the sale are three framed “Big” Healey portraits signed by Donald Healey and members of his company (100S, 100-6, 3000 Mk III).
