1979 CHEVROLET K10 4X4 PU WITH SCOTTSDALE TRIM
Very desirable 117.5 with short box. This truck was manufactured in California at the Fremont Assembly plant.
Repair receipts will be included with the truck & they indicate it spent most of its life in Green Valley & Tuscon, AZ. The gentleman I purchased the truck from, who lived in Iowa bought the truck in 2014--over the next few years he restored it to the present condition.
The 350 cu.in motor was replaced a few years ago with a GM Goodrich motor, Eddelbrock intake manifold & carburetor, &350 automatic transmission.
Original factory power disc brakes & steering--all body panels were rebuilt & appear to be original to the truck, then re sprayed in the original code 17L Mistic Silver.
Cab interior & firewall still have the original factory silver paint. Body panels are very straight & doors & hood fit well with equal gaps.
All body chrome is new, all glass is good & windshield is new--all gaskets & seals have been replaced.
Door panels, seat & carpet have been replaced. Dash & instruments have been updated to a custom equus system--plus stereo radio sound system. The truck has original sliding rear window & dual fuel tanks. Custom touch's include 6" lift kit, Ranch shock absorbers, 33X12.50" new tires mounted on polished aluminum rims, new dual exhaust with turbo mufflers, polished chrome roll bar, KC lights & spray in box liner.
We just completed over a 500 mile trip in 90 degree temp & it preformed vey well.
The truck stands tall, but will still clear a standard residential garage door opening.
