There are a lot of custom cars out there but the quality ones are
few and far between. This 1939 Ford Coast to Coast Custom is one of
those that clearly sits above the rest. Checking it out in person
will easily show you that this wasn't some garage built kit car.
The fit and finish is of the highest level which is a big part of
why it does so well at car shows. Coast to Coast makes some of the
highest quality fiberglass bodies out there and this is one of
them. The elegant body lines flow perfectly into eachother giving
it a tough yet very sleek classy appearance. This car is a Roadster
but is typically run with the slick hardtop mounted in place. The
exterior is coated in a two tone Silver and Black which have a
beautiful shine. The paint looks great as is but by keeping it
clean allows the future owner the creative room to add pinstriping,
etc to suit their taste. A custom painted to match grill is found
up front and give it a little different look from similar cars out
there. The car has been intentionally kept free of a lot of chrome
pieces but stainless trim does outline the tear drop style
headlights up front. LED taillights are found in the rear and
nicely accent the pointed rear fenders. Billet mirrors are mounted
to each door and poppers are used to open the door as the body has
been kept shaved and free from any handles or trim. Colorado Custom
wheels are found under all four corners and are wrapped with fresh
low profile tires. The car has an incredible stance which is
entirely adjustable by the Air Ride Technologies shockwave system.
It looks great sitting low to the ground at car shows but is very
easy to raise up and set for the perfect ride cruising down the
road.
Turn the key and you will here the Corvette LT1 motor instantly
roar to life. It has an awesome sound which is delivered to your
ears via the custom dual exhaust routed out of the rear. The engine
has plenty of power and utilizes a custom cover and Street and
Performance mass air flow harness. An electric fan keeps it running
cool at all times and the car cruises down the road with ease. The
engine is backed by an automatic transmission that shifts smoothly
and with no problems. Power steering, power brakes, power doors,
and power windows are also all in place so you don't have to leave
those comforts with the daily driver car at home when you head out
to car shows.
The interior of the car is done in all Black leather and the
upholstery work has a nice finish. The dual bucket seats are
comfortable and sit to each side of the custom made center console.
Stewart Warner gauges are mounted to the dash as is the custom
Pioneer AM/FM/CD player and aftermarket AC vents. An Ididit tilt
column sits nicely in front of the driver and is topped with Billet
steering wheel.
This car was finished out very nicely and you can tell the work was
done right by the way it drives down the road. You won't regret
checking this one out in person!
