The Chevrolet Camaro joined the battle for America's top pony car
in 1967 with the ambition to take on the popular Ford Mustang. Its
original production run lasted 35 years and made countless memories
along the way through all its generations. This 1967 Camaro RS
takes you right back to the beginning, but also has some great
modern surprises in it as well.
Black Horse Garage has this striking Daytona Blue Camaro with a
full resto-mod history. The original engine has been replaced with
a carbureted LS-2 6.0 liter GM Performance Corvette crate engine,
so now the car does not just look great, but it has the power to
back it up. Other upgrades include a custom Mattson double pass
aluminum radiator, custom gas tank, Vintage Air A/C, and Wilwood
4-piston rear calipers.
What is really impressive with the restoration work done on this
Camaro is the upgrades underneath. The suspension components
eliminate the hard bouncing of old muscle cars and make this a
smooth ride with spectacular handling at every curve. You will find
motor mounts, a power rack and pinion steering system, polished
tubular stainless steel A-arms, adjustable polished billet front
coil overs, tubular front clip, 4-link rear suspension, chrome rear
suspension bars, and subframe connectors all supplied by TCI
Engineering. In the rear there is also a Ford 9" rear end,
Currie-Posi aluminum 3rd member, and 3.50:1 rear end gears.
Who doesn't love the loud rumble of the exhaust of a supped-up
Camaro! The owner of this car said, "Why are muscle cars cool?
Cause they're loud!" This '67 Camaro will not disappoint with a
custom stainless steel exhaust system. You will hear the power the
moment you turn the key.
This is an RS Camaro, so its features include hidden headlights, RS
badging, and an RS grille. Inside, the seats have a great black and
white pattern to match the attitude of the rest of the car. The car
has automatic transmission, digital displays and gauges, and a
modern stereo system to blast your favorite tunes.
Be sure not to miss this exciting 1967 Camaro RS before the driving
season ends. To inquire about it or see this in person at Black
Horse Garage, please call Jesse at 203-885-2036 or reach him via
