History About Plymouth's Sport Fury:
Plymouth launched its new 3rd generation Fury lineup in 1965, which
included the new and luxurious Sport Fury model! The Sport Fury was
selected as the official Pace Car for the prestigious 49th running
of the Indianapolis 500 that year, a first for Plymouth!
Approximately 1300 cars were made for dealerships throughout the
country, but only 35 festival cars were selected to participate at
the actual track event, like the example seen here. Each one was to
carry a race driver during pre-race activities around the course.
This is certainly a unique opportunity to own a rare classic
Plymouth with rich history!

were largely done to cure some leaks from older seals and gaskets.
Just this past April (2020), the battery was replaced, new valve
gaskets installed, the brake fluid completely flushed, and the fuel
filler hose replaced. It continues to run and drive as new with an
odometer reading of 35,031 miles. It should make for a terrific
