This is an outstanding Pontiac WS6 Trans AM. This was the first year for the LS1 Engine in the Trans AM and it was a serious Game Changer. Everything about the New Trans AM changed the game. How could we have known this was the beginning of the end. These "Last of Breed" Trans AM's were the Best Birds ever offered by Pontiac and have become very collectable. There are a couple things that make the '98 a little more desirable than the 99-02's. One, they used a different glue on the roof section and they do not tend to have the paint problems associated with the 99-02's. Another is the door panels and dashes do not seem to crack on the '98 like they do on the '99-'02. Lastly, is the unique Single Exhaust system used on the WS6 cars. Pontiac did testing and found that a single large diameter system made better HP than a dual exhaust used on the standard TA. Many were swapped out for aftermarket dual systems, but this one still has it in place. So, these are some of the unique attributes of the '98 TA's and this one is very original and unaltered. If you are a Pontiac Collector, your collection is not complete without one of these beautiful machines in it. This Trans AM has it all. Performance, Style, Handling and all of this packed into a single car that is in outstanding condition.
