1949 GMC Truck for sale by owner! Ever wanted to step back in time and buy one new? Wondered what they drove and sounded like when they were new? This 1949 GMC is a very unique and special truck with only 9,407 original miles! It is just about as new old stock as you can get. And it runs and drives like the day it was new!! This 49 was owned by a farmer in Kansas that special ordered the truck in its original Orange color, after purchasing the truck brand new he passed away in 1951 and the truck sat its whole life untouched until it was rescued and brought back into service a few years ago! It has been very well preserved over the years with only one repaint in its original color the body and bed panels are so straight and perfect as if it never hauled a single thing and there is absolutely zero rust or corrosion on the truck, notice the original paint on the firewall!! All obvious items that need correction have been taken care of such as full fluids service's, Battery and cables, and all new brakes, hoses, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, and new tires, flush fuel system and rebuild the carburetor! It has had over 2,000 miles put on it since its reconditioning so rest assured its in top shape and ready to enjoy. The engine runs so perfectly and quiet you almost can't hear it run when standing next to it! Everything works as it should. The steering, suspension, engine ect the "whole" truck runs and drives like a new vehicle with only 9,400 original miles!!
