1947 Mercury Eight Coupe. VIN: 799A1440251. Flathead V8 engine / 3 speed manual transmission. Runs and drives good. Very solid body with nice, black paint. Interior is very good - looks great! Wide whitewall tires on original steel wheels. Unmodified car, retains original style steering and brakes - drives good on the highway and brakes stop great. 6 volt electrical. All lights and gauges work properly, even the vacuum windshield wipers work good. The factory heater works. Great example of a classic Mercury. Odometer reads 52,442 miles (actual mileage cannot be verified).
