Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is excited to offer this
sweet 1929 Ford Model A hotrod for sale. The Model A was the Ford
Motor Company's second milestone reached after the Model T. The
Model T was produced for 18 years before it was replaced by the
Model A. Through its production years of 1927 until 1931 over 4
million Model As were made in multiple body styles including
convertibles, coupes, sedans, trucks, cabriolets, roadsters, wagons
and town cars. This 1929 Ford is equipped with a 350 CID V8 that's
backed by a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission, sending power to
a Ford 9" rear-end with 3.10 gears. The ladder bar rear suspension
with its coil-over shocks help keep the tires planted when you nail
it, and the front wheel discs help improve the stopping power
considerably. A set of custom Boyd's aluminum wheels are shod with
P185/75R14 radials up front, and P235/75R15 radials out back. The
staggered tire sizes help add to the classic rake of the car. The
restoration on this hotrod was performed about 16 years ago and
since has been driven 35,000 miles, so it's proven to be a very
roadworthy classic ride. The exterior of this Model A is coated in
a blue paint that is sure to grab the attention of onlookers, and
the interior is done in a tan tweed cloth that still has plenty of
life left in it. A leather-wrapped Billet Specialties steering
wheel adds a nice custom touch, and matches well with the
aluminum-bezeled dash, which houses a complete set of
Stewart-Warner gauges. The back seat is available for when you have
company that wants to tag along for a cruise and enjoy the air
conditioning. Additional features and options on this beautiful
hotrod include: Air Conditioning, Aluminum Wheels, AM/FM/Cassette
Radio, Cloth Interior, Kill Switch, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, and
Tilt Wheel. For more information on this 1929 Ford Model A hotrod
