Pontiac wasn't the first car company to drop a big motor in a
mid-sized car, but they were the first to market a big motor in a
mid-sized car. Rivaling anything on the road in straight-line
acceleration, the 1964 Tempest-based GTO was wildly successful,
prompting others to use the same basic formula. Every U.S.
automotive manufacturer began packaging a factory hot rod with
youth-oriented advertising, bringing about the muscle car craze of
the sixties Now, in the year 2020, Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas
City is proud to offer a stunning example of what Pontiac was
successful at achieving in 1964 by combining performance and style.
Our new offering is a beautiful white exterior and white
convertible top 1964 Pontiac G.T.O! The owner believed it to be a
true G.T.O., or, there is a possibility that this is a very nice
tribute, but either way you'll enjoy every second! The overall
appearance of our new G.T,O. offering is elegance and speed
starting with the shiny white exterior, white convertible top and
contrasting black vinyl interior. The exterior is performance
complemented by chrome Weld Racing Wheels wrapped in Firehawk Indy
500 tires on each corner! Plus, the ultra-classic G.T.O. badges on
each front fender, G.T.O. emblem on the front grill and faux hood
scoops warn the competition that this Pontiac means business! The
interior has the look and feel of speed with the long, sleek metal
center console housing the automatic floor shifter, split between
the two front bucket seats. A stout 389 cubic inch V-8, crowned
with a four-barrel carburetor, lurks in silence under the hood
until given the command to attack! If you are a fan of G.T.O. you
will need to act A.S.A.P! You can begin by calling your friends at
Gateway Classic Cars in Kansas City. We are very witty and somewhat
knowledgeable about classic cars. Our number is (913) 815-1340. You
can reach us Monday thru Saturday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. cst. Gateway
Classic Cars of Kansas City, 1202 South lone Elm Road, Olathe, KS
