They didn't get much lower, wider, or longer than the 1975 Cadillac
Coupe DeVille. With its big V8, loaded A/C interior, and all the
best '70s-style features, this is your new favorite time capsule on
wheels.
This is a documented low ownership car, and it has the look of a
properly respected coupe. The off-white paint gives a distinct
contrast to the well-done black vinyl roof. This is a true cruising
machine with a hood that's long enough to have its own horizon.
Despite this coupe's size, the panels show this was driven with
care. In fact, the odometer is believed to reflect the car's actual
mileage, which means it averaged under 1k miles annually. So it has
nice details where the bumpers are mirror-like, the fender skirts
are tight, and the tricky rear end cap panels still look great.
It's a true rolling classic, right down to the bright Caddy wheel
covers and wide Coker whitewalls.
A good Cadillac is about the right coordinating colors, and so the
black roof is a preview of the full black interior. Of course,
another hallmark of Cadillac is luxury. That's why it comes loaded
with the kind of options that you would even want on a brand new
car, such as power windows, power locks, cruise control, tilt
steering wheel, and a power driver's seat. The climate control is
even blowing cold with modern R134a refrigerant (the vent doors may
need servicing.) The leather seats retain their plush feel, and
while there's plenty of room for up to six people, fold-down
armrests in each row offer proper individualized comfort. You've
got the right classic feel in all the right places, everywhere from
the knobs for the AM/FM radio to the texture of the wood-like trim.
So your senses really feel like part of a time capsule.
A Cadillac is a cool cruiser with plenty of Detroit metal. So it
feels good to have the monstrous 500 cubic-inch V8 with a
four-barrel carburetor on top to move it all. It's an
original-style package under the hood, but there have also been the
right upgrades. The electronic ignition, cast valve covers, and
electric fan are worthwhile features. You even have a set of
headers for added power and a low note from the dual exhaust. And
yes, if you look at the undercarriage photos, you can see a set of
electronic cutouts that allow the dignified Caddy to unleash a
serious V8 rumble on-demand. And no matter how you choose to cruise
this Coupe DeVille, it's an easy experience with power steering,
power brakes, front discs, and the stout but smooth TH400
three-speed automatic transmission.
We have plenty of paperwork, including the original warranty card,
factory buildsheet, dealer invoice, bill of sale, service manuals,
and owner's manual. It all makes for a distinct classic cruiser,
and the budget price is just the cherry on top. Call today!!!
