We love seeing cars from the 1930s get a new life as cool hot rods, but most of the time they are a Ford or Chevy. That's what makes this 1936 Plymouth Deluxe coupe so appealing. Under the hood is a 5.7-liter cubic-inch V8. In fact, this fuel-injected powerhouse is closely related to what you can get in plenty of new Mopars today! Not only does this look great with all the polished elements, but also there has been an investment in overall quality. That's why you'll spot features like an electric fuel pump and an aluminum radiator. There are shorty headers feeding the dual exhaust, and so this mighty Mopar loves to fire up with power and authority. They paired this modern V8 up with Chrysler's five-speed automatic transmission so that it had the right gearing for both performance driving and overdrive comfort. This all-around great driving attitude is furthered by the tubular control arm front end, power brakes w/front discs, and rack & pinion power steering.
