significantly better than it was when it originally rolled off the
line in Norwood. The paint is better than any factory paint job,
but that's not where the really noticeable enhancements are.
Sporting a ZZ6 crate 350 CID V8 with a serpentine accessory drive
system, it also has FAST electronic fuel injection, MSD 6AL
ignition, ceramic coated headers, a stainless steel dual exhaust
setup, a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission, Global West tubular
upper and lower control arms, adjustable Viking gas coil-overs
(front) and shocks (rear), subframe connectors, and a crazy good
brake setup. The full Wilwood setup includes Wilwood master
cylinder, adjustable proportioning valve, multi-piece slotted and
drilled rotors, 6-piston calipers up front, and 4-piston calipers
out back. This 1967 Camaro stops on a dime, and these brakes just
will not fade. You will want to drive this car every day - and with
the reliable fuel injection and the huge Griffin aluminum radiator
(with its twin thermostatically controlled electric fans), it
certainly seems suitable for that kind of use. Inside, the custom
Classic Auto instrument cluster fills the original nacelles but
provides 6 gauges instead of the original 2: Speedo, Tach, Fuel,
Temperature, Voltmeter, and Oil Pressure are all easily monitored.
The vintage style large diameter/thin rim steering wheel feels
right at home, and the black carpet, trim panels, dash, and
synthetic leather seating all seem as good as new. The RetroSound
head unit is supported by DB Drive Euphoria amps and speakers and
sounds amazing. The trunk area has a complete custom look to
highlight the DB Drive audio equipment that's installed there. This
beast rides on a set of Hankook performance radials (245/45ZR17 up
front, 255/50ZR17 out back) that look nearly new, and they're
wrapped around some nice American Racing aluminum wheels, which
provide a subtle performance look with their bead blasted centers
