Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is pleased to offer this 1972
Chevrolet Corvette Convertible in Pewter Silver (924) with Black
(400) interior and top. While it may not have a hard-top this
beauty is newly equipped with a "Blueprint Engines" 383 Stroker as
of late 2019, this beauty can certainly run. Dyno tested as 455HP
and 480 lb/ft of torque, it has plenty of pep to lay down the
rubber. It has been paired with a four-speed transmission that was
rebuilt in August of 2006. Restored comprehensively in 2006 at a
cost around $43000 (with receipts) this car is quite possibly
better than it was new off the line. Driven sparingly since, this
'72 Corvette for sale still shows and drives very well. Restoration
included total repaint to a sleek PPG silver, brake overhaul, new
top and interior, distributor, fuel lines, MSD ignition, carburetor
and much more. This corvette is certainly one that is worth taking
a 2nd look at. The interior has been restored very well making this
car show worthy. With the tilt wheel getting in and out of this
beauty is much simpler than many other Vettes out there. With
plenty of documentation dating back to the last 14 years your mind
will be at easy knowing you have a classic that has taken care of
over the years. For more information on this 1972 Chevrolet
