Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1940
Cadillac Series 72 Limousine! Riding in style does not quite
capture the look and feel of this ride. The first thing you will
notice is the size of this hunk of metal. This is an absolutely
massive automobile and nearly all of it is reserved for the
luxurious back seat. Does your car have a foot pole? Today few bars
have a foot pole, but this classic Caddy has a floorboard mounted
footrest for you to relax while your chauffer drives you around
town. Adding to the aesthetic of the car are two FAKE Tommy Guns in
the back seat! You are sure to break necks driving this bad boy
around and will stand out at the car shows! The car also has an
interesting history. It is said to have been owned by a general
during WWII and was previous at Boyd Coddington's consignment shop.
The car has been maintained very well and drives effortlessly. The
front end was rebuilt and features new bushings and kingpins. 1940
