The Ford Mustang has had plenty of aftermarket companies and tune shops take their stock Mustang setup and turn them into wicked machines. Ford decided in 2006 to keep one in house and do their own setup with a tip of the hat to the original GT500 and have the Shelby and SVT division work hand in hand with the design and engineers to develop this incredible vehicle that is a joy to drive and experience.

Offered here is a very low mileage 2009 Ford Mustang GT500 in the iconic Torch Red with dual white racing stripes down the middle. Supple black leather interior completes the package nicely along with the 18in SVT light alloy wheels. All of these were mostly optioned the same with just a few upgrades from the factory, the big splurge was upgrading to the Shaker 1000 stereo which this has along with the 6 Disc CD in dash and Sirius radio. Vehicle was sold new out of Texas and remained in the Lone Star state till recently acquired by us from the 2nd owner. Recent airbag recall has been completed and vehicle is in amazing condition from the interior to exterior.

Our test drive was a very enjoyable experience as having access to 500HP with a precise 6spd manual is so much fun. The Supercharger whines up at about 3,000 RPM and then really lets you have the full power at about 4,500 RPMs and you are off with just about everyone else in your rearview mirror. The fit and finish is very impressive and the overall experience and package that is delivered with this car is quite remarkable.
