The Speed was a 2008 upgrade to Bentley’s popular and already-powerful AWD Continental GT coupe. The package included more horsepower and enhanced torque, plus weight was reduced by changing suspension parts to light alloy, the steering was made more responsive and a revised grille provided better cooling.
A further upgrade, called the ‘Mulliner Driving Specification,’ added unique 20” wheels, signature diamond-stitched leather with ‘baseball’ stitching, drilled alloy pedals and special interior highlights like embroidered winged Bs in the headrests.
Ordered in special ‘Black Velvet’ paint that seems black until bright sunlight brings out a deep violet hue. Not for everyone, but if you like it, you’ll love it. Black leather adds a practical, elegant touch and the usual wood dash and console panels were ordered in glossy ‘Piano Black’ that looks like a Steinway.
This car was sold new here in Denver and is a two-owner with an absolutely clean CarFax report, recent new tires and a major service was done at the dealership 300 miles ago. We have the owner’s book, both keys and it’s a fabulous opportunity to enjoy a $230,000 car for just a fraction of that!
