Vehicle Description
A cool-cruising survivor-grade classic that even has cold-blowing
A/C. So yeah, we know you like this 1977 Ford LTD Landau even
before you checked out the ultra-affordable price.
You're looking at the factory-applied Cream paint, and it looks
absolutely fantastic today for spending over four-decades on this
earth (only the front fender was given a respray and blend later in
life.) And the high gloss really shows off how well the sheetmetal
still holds its unbroken angular creases. Then again, with sedan
that's only averaged about 1,000 miles annually, and always stored
indoors it whole life, it has been babied like a good luxury
classic should. A good reason for such exceptional care is that the
Landau was the range-topper for the sedan line. In fact, Ford
basically said they were offering you a Cadillac. And you can
really see how this lives up to that level of luxury with its
strikingly coordinated presentation. The blue vinyl top looks bold
against the cream. And we love how it's coordinated with the
full-length trim and centers of the factory wheel covers. There's
even a blue pinstripe. Bright chrome bumpers, intricate light trim,
and fender skirts are all about premium vintage motoring on this
outstanding survivor.
The two-tone cream and blue continues inside, and just like the
outside, the interior of this LTD is excellently preserved. The
cream seats have an intricate style embossed on them, and they are
fully trimmed with blue piping. This is the kind of look you expect
from a custom car, but it's what Ford gave a select few. The blue
carpeting, seatbelts, dash and more really makes this a thoughtful
total package. This has the space and seatbelts to seat up to six,
but when it's just you, the fold-down armrest provides
individualized comfort. The premium sedan has great options like
cruise control, a tilt steering column, AM/FM stereo, and plenty of
wood paneling on the dash and doors. Even the air conditioning was
converted to modern R134a to make sure you're ready to take this
one out any time of year.
With a car that's been so original so far, you'll be quite happy to
see such a stock and believed original 400 cubic-inch V8 under the
hood. This is truly survivor grade as the low-mileage motor still
looks factory-fresh. And when it looks this good so many decades
later, then you know it has received proper service its whole
lifetime. But just because this is a time capsule, doesn't mean you
should hesitate adding miles to the odometer. After all, with
features like a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering,
power brakes, and front discs, this LTD is the perfect any time
cruiser.
Because people want to know more about a survivor like this, it
even comes complete with the factory buildsheet, dealer invoice,
and owner's manual. It's amazing you can get this kind of standout
vintage cruiser for such an affordable price. That's why we know it
will be gone quickly. Call today!!!
