This 1966 Ford Mustang is one of the most interesting classic cars
around right now. It has great features like slick sliver paint
with a sporty attitude, and the interior is an upgraded experience
that included cold-blowing A/C. And under the hood is a rebuilt
powerhouse you didn't expect.
The exterior has a well-done sporty style. The silver metallic
paint looks smooth and feels smooth over the pony car's classic
panels. The black racing stripes looks great against the silver,
and the darkly tinted windows coordinate, too. There are even
helpful upgrades like LED taillights. The ideas of vintage and
upgrade come together perfectly on the wheels. They look like the
Mustang's classic styled wheels, but they are actually more modern
alloys that can accept modern sport tires.
Inside are the right touches of vintage, like the door panels,
shifter, and gauge package. But what really stands out here are all
the upgrades. After all, the stock bucket seats never gave you this
kind of high-back bolstering, and this even has a cup holder center
console in-between. The radio has the vintage look but it's really
a modern AM/FM digital tuner. And the air conditioner looks like
the one from back in the day, but it's really a newer unit blowing
ice cold from modern R134a.
Your eyes are seeing the engine bay correctly. That is a 200
cubic-inch inline six motor, but that's not the whole story. It was
rebuilt less than 1k miles ago at House of Hot Rods to keep it a
strong motor. Plus, there's a newer radiator w/electric fan to keep
the full system running cool. And the headers feeding the dual
exhaust means added power and the proper tune. Sure, you may just a
want this slick and loaded silver coupe to drop in your V8 project
(and we all know it will fit nicely,) but there's already just
something cool about how this one gets added power and sound out of
such an honest package. It's even supported by the right pieces,
including a new shifting mechanism for the three-speed automatic, a
rebuilt rear end, adjustable front shocks, and newer front disc
brakes with drilled & slotted rotors.
The sale comes complete with the owner's manual, build receipts,
and maintenance records. It's a nice deal on an interestingly
restored icon. Hurry up before someone else realizes how good this
coupe is. Call today!!!
