1966 Ford Custom 500 Fully restored Ford Custom 500, in Nightmist
Blue, which comes with a 427, 425 HP engine, paired with a
toploader 4 speed manual transmission, floor shift. The engine and
undercarriage had a removal and restoration project completed in
2019 by Mike's Classic Cars in Omaha, NE. The 427 engine produces
421.0 HP and 395.7 ft/lbs of torque at 5,589 RPM per the DYNOmite
Dynamometer Test Results in October, 2012. This is the same engine
that was used in Indy cars in the 1960's. We use high octane race
fuel that can only be bought at high performance or specialty
shops. The engine, drive train and under carriage are spotless. The
car starts, drives and shifts smooth. The only defects are a small
tear in the passenger side front seat and a rear view mirror that
is missing the reflective glass on the driver side. I have pictures
of both, but ran out of room displaying the engine and
undercarriage improvements. We purchased the car in 2013 and have
receipts for all improvements. We bought the car with 75,722 miles.
The car had all four wheel cylinders replaced as well as a brake
flush complete in Jan, 2020. Please Note The Following **Vehicle
