For Sale: 1957 Bentley S1 in Cookeville, Tennessee

Nothing says style like a classic Bentley. This 1957 S1 is finished in a beautiful two-tone green with tan leather. Her paint and interior are in excellent condition and all of her bright work is shiny.

The Bentley S1 is powered by the 4.9 liter Rolls-Royce straight 6 with twin carburetors. The engine runs smooth and cool the brake cylinders have just been rebuilt.

Within the last few years she has received a complete and proper repaint. The rubber seals for the glass, bootlid and doors are all excellent to new. All of the body panels fit in nicely with good gaps. The chrome and other bright work is in good condition. It appears to be all original so expect to see normal aging. There is one small section where the chrome is peeling by the passenger side fog lamp.

The wool headliner is correct and new. She has a new leather interior and new wool carpet. The burled wood has been refinished, and we are talking about a lot of wood! The burled wood picnic tables / writing desks are an excellent touch of class as are the Opera lamps and mirrors for the rear seat passengers.

Both the fog lamps and the headlamps are the correct Lucas type with the Lucas lenses.

The 2 level boot also has new and correct carpet and hard matting. The spare wheel is present as are the factory jack, tire tools and air pump. Each of these tools is secured in the original factory mounting brackets.

Out on the road she runs well and stops well as you would expect from a car of that quality level.

This car just recently underwent a major tuneup for over $14,000 that included a carburetor service, new tires , new fuel pump, complete brake upgrades with new parts, new AC System installed and more. She needs nothing but someone to take her for some nice rides!
