Arnolt Bristol 404X-3066 Bolide with engine BS1 MkII 266 was tested on its dynamometer by the Bristol Aeroplane company on April 15th 1954 and was shipped shortly after to Bertone in Turin for the construction of the body. With Car No. AR-BR/5867/C (which signifies that it was a Bolide) attached it was shipped aboard the S/S Annik and arrived in the US on September 15th 1954. The Body colour was Ivory and the upholstery was plastic green with standard steel wheels. It was subsequently sold to Auto-Import Ltd, 422 N. Capitol Ave, Indianapolis on August 17th 1956, invoice number 1064.
This beautiful restored, matching number's Arnolt Bristol has had four owners from new. Eligible for all historic racing events including the Mille Miglia. Offered in team color livery with blue Tonneau.
