This cool custom 1973 VW beetle was restored by VW Restorations &
Customs in Manassas Virginia in the early 90's and since then has
seen it's shares of shows and cruise-ins and was even featured in
Hot VW magazine in 1992. The classic beetle has held together very
well since it's restoration and still looks great. The body is
super tight and straight with an excellent fit and finish and the
burgundy metallic paint still has a good shine to it. The interior
looks great as well along with all the billet trim. During
restoration this bug received a new 1600cc engine with twin carbs
that really makes this beetle move. The engine starts right up
every time and the tranny shifts smooth with no play. All gauges
and lights work properly except for the temperature gauge. Even the
clock works. The car drives great on the road, very tight and
responsive with plenty of power, very fun to drive.
