This is a 1955 Ford Thunderbird Roadster with the original 292 cu in V8 engine automatic transmission power steering power brakes power seat telescopic wheel hard and soft top. This is a genuine barn find. Sold from an estate. Has been sitting for an excess of 10 years. Not really sure how long as we obviously cannot talk to the previous owner. Suffice to say the tires on it when we got it were 54 years old. We have since gone through the braking system. master cylinder wheel cylinders new fuel pump new radiator thermostat housing radiator hoses heater hoses flushed out gas tank rebuild carburetor Replaced heater core heater control valve headlight switch plugs points and condenser. Pulled heads to check out found engine had been completely rebuilt at some point. Super clean inside. Car is up and running good. Will need cosmetic work. Was an original black car.
