This is in my opinion the Finest Original 1966 -442-L69-Tri Power in existence today with 27000 original miles!
The car was ordered in Evansville,Indiana Feb 1966 and arrived at O Daniel-Raines Oldsmobile March 14-1966-The Car has 2 Tone Finish-Royal Mist Blue-Provincial White Top and White Interior -The first couple years the car was drag raced at a local strip-I have pictures of the trophies he won plus pictures when the car was New! Along the way the 10 Bolt Rear End was replaced with a 12 Bolt for added strength! Around 1970 the original owner had health issues and was no longer able to drive.The car remained in a garage until the owner passed in 2003
The original paint is in Great Condition for a car 54 years old! Nearly all the paint is Original to the car ! Interior is all Original except for the carpet! After sitting in a garage for many years the engine was professional rebuilt ! The car has the original E Block with a Julian Date of Jan 5 as well as the original B code cylinder heads ! The transmission is the factory Muncie M21 Close Ratio 4 speed !
Nearly all of the 1966 L69 Tri Power cars were heavily raced back in the day and very few even exist today ! To find one like this car is very rare ! I have been to many National Car Shows over the years and every 1966 Tri Power car I have ever seen is a off frame restoration !
