GREAT DOCUMENTATION!! L36 cars like this are getting very difficult
to find. This is a numbers matching 1968 Corvette 427/390 big block
(IL code) with its original close ratio (M21) transmission and
posi-traction rear end. The 45289 miles showing on the odometer are
original and verifiable. Painted in its original color of Safari
Yellow this stunning roadster is equipped with power steering and
brakes AM/FM stereo radio teak wood steering wheel red line tires
and rally wheels. The seats are in excellent shape. Carpet shows
minor fading in the usual spots that are exposed to the sun. All
gauges work and the bezels are like new. The top is newer and in
great shape. The rear window is clear. (see pictures). This car has
had 5 owners since 1968 and has lived in Illinois Wyoming Arizona
and for the last 15 years Ohio where is was exclusively a summer
driver and taken to shows. It has been lovingly maintained
throughout the years. The Ohio owner has spent $10000 since 2009
getting things back to being correct for the car (produced on
October 27 1967). Replaced has been the exhaust system radiator and
rear suspension rubber...old aftermarket clamps and hoses have been
replaced with Corvette correct ones all belts have been replaced
new speakers with correct OHM for the car. Rebuilt items have been
carb brakes and windshield wiper motor. The original bias ply spare
and jack are still with the car. The HEI electronic ignition has
been replaced with an MSG unit. The Ohio owner also thinks the
